A 12-month paid programme for recent graduates and self-taught builders. Rotate through three teams, ship one feature owned end-to-end, and graduate with a permanent offer if you and we are a fit.

Applications close 15 October. We hire 24 apprentices a year — eight per track. Open to anyone who can show a body of work, with or without a degree.

What to expect.

How long is the hiring process?

From application to offer, we aim for under three weeks. Expect an initial 30-minute conversation, a take-home or technical interview, and a final round with two to three teammates including the hiring manager.

Do you sponsor work permits?

Yes — for senior and lead roles where local talent is scarce, we sponsor critical-skills visas and cover relocation costs. For most roles we hire South African citizens and permanent residents.

What's the working model — remote, hybrid, in-office?

HQ roles are hybrid: three days on-site at our Pinetown office, two days flexible. Some engineering roles are fully remote within South Africa. We don't currently hire outside SA timezones.

I don't have a degree. Should I still apply?

Yes. Show us a body of work — a portfolio, GitHub, case studies, anything that proves you can do the job. Our hiring rubric weights demonstrated work above credentials.

What happens to my application if I'm not selected?

We keep your details on file for 12 months and will reach out if a better-fit role opens up. You'll always get a clear yes or no within two weeks of your final interview.
